Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs

Dry Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mash the bananas, then whisk in melted butter, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow brownies to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake them and let them set as they cool.
